Back to work

What does it say about our society that this amount of time spent at work is an undocumented requirement in many professional positions?

Put in 50 hours? Go home – “The International Labour Organization says that 8 per cent of the working population devotes more than 12 hours a day to their profession in order to escape from personal problems,” Psych Central News reports. “According to the experts, spending more than 50 hours per week working could be a determining factor in [work] addiction.”

More. Pythons.

I can’t imagine many of you read my twitter post a while back:

That link again: http://nyti.ms/afCZMD

No matter. Here’s more news on Florida being overrun with man eating pythons. Glad we choose this year to vacation in Tampa. Wow.

The Ultimate Sacrifice

Howard Cruse cut off his long hair for a role in the Short Play Festival!   That’s commitment for ya!

The actor and cartoonist documents his experience in his excellent blog Loose Cruse.

The Shoe

The Shoe, originally uploaded by mainstreetstage.

These are my friends Mollie O. Remillard and Eric K. Auld last night. They were rehearsing a piece for the Short Play Festival at Main Street Stage opening Friday. This one’s called “The Shoe” – directed by Lex.

I love these guys. Funny, great stuff.
